Good bread, baked while the street sleeps.

Come in out of the cold. The kettle's always on and the bread's still warm.

About us

We're a small bakery on the corner of Mill Lane, baking for the people of our street. The ovens are lit before the street is awake.

We start the dough the night before, because slow bread tastes better. No fuss, just good bread.

Some of our regulars don't need to order any more. We know their loaf, and we save the window table on rainy days.
